GPS Tracer - Installation

The connection only requires a + and - 12V. The very low power draw cannot discharge the vehicule's battery even after a long period of parking.
When the GPS Tracer is equipped with its optionnal backup battery, it gets always recharged from the car's battery.

The GSM antenna is screwed on the casing.

The GPS antenna has a 4 meter long wire, and can be hidden under any non metallic element, such as dashboard, bumper, glove compartment. The speaker shelf behind the rear seats is another great place. Anywhere there is no metal placed between the GPS antenna and the sky will be ok.Some customers have reported the antenna works fine under or between the car's front seats but it is not recommended for reliable operation.

Insert a SIM card, and the GPS Tracer is ready for use.

SIM card

You can either subscribe contract or take a prepaid card to the provider you want.
Only SMS will be sent, and it is thus not necessary to pay for vocal or data service.

For those who'd be interested, we have negociated a contract with 0 ¤ fees, on which you'll only pay for the SMS you send, at 0.25 ¤ each, wherever you are in Europe.
