Micro Tracer - How it works

To start, just open the casing and install the batteries. The Micro Tracer is then ready to start recording locations during about 24hours.

The pro version has no limit in autonomy, as it is powered from the car's battery

Once downloaded in your computer, the location datas are displayed in a list :

Each line is a record, on which we have date, time, coordinates, altitude, speed, heading, quality of the GPS signal, and a link to a mapping software freely available on the internet.

In this example we chose Mapquest, which uses the Navteq datas :

With Google Earth, we can also have the whole trip on one map :

Zooming on a particular point is of course possible :

We can see precisely where the vehicule stopped during 4 minutes on february 1st from 8:20AM
